CLINTON, S.C. — Presbyterian College men’s soccer plays its last home game of the season Tuesday night, welcoming Davidson to Martin Stadium in Clinton for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
The evening doubles as Senior Night. Six players will be recognized in a ceremony at 6:45 p.m.: goalkeepers Saed Anabtawi and Beatty Murray, defenders Bryce Burdette and Obieda Jarah, midfielder Nathan Arroyo and forward Kyle Grant.
PC is still looking for its first win of the year at 0-13-1. Sophomore AJ Acree has been the main scoring threat with three goals on a team-high 17 shots, including a two-goal night in a 2-2 draw at Radford on Oct. 9. Burdette and Aiden Burke have two goals each, and Anabtawi has made 64 saves in goal.
Davidson arrives at 5-5-4 and riding a two-game winning streak. The Wildcats shut out Saint Joseph’s 2-0 on Saturday, scoring both goals within about a minute midway through the second half, and they held the Hawks without a shot on goal.
Charlie Frink, Nico Zeballos and Myles Culley share the Davidson lead with three goals apiece. Tuesday is the Wildcats’ last non-conference game before they host Saint Louis on Halloween night to end the regular season.
History favors the visitors. This is the 12th meeting between the two programs, and Davidson has won all 11 before it.
