CLINTON, S.C. — Presbyterian College women’s soccer plays its last home match of the season Wednesday night, welcoming High Point to Martin Stadium in Clinton with a 7 p.m. start and a Big South tournament berth still within reach.

The Blue Hose enter at 4-8-1 overall and 1-5 in league play. They sit ninth in the nine-team Big South table with 3 points, so every result in the final stretch matters. High Point arrives at 3-8-2 and 2-2-1, holding 7 points near the cutoff line. USC Upstate leads the conference at 5-0-1.

Coach Matt Smith wants a top-six finish, which would give Presbyterian a second postseason trip in three seasons. The Panthers are the reigning tournament champions after winning the 2025 title as the fourth seed.

Presbyterian earned its first Big South win Saturday, beating Longwood 1-0 on a penalty kick in the 70th minute for the third clean sheet of its season.

Freshman midfielder Katelynn Ciolek, who has started every one of the 13 matches, earned the school’s weekly student-athlete award, backed by Adidas and Game One, for steering that win. She has logged 979 minutes this fall.

The match streams on ESPN+. Presbyterian closes the regular season on Halloween at Radford.
