Golf Championship Qualifiers
In golf, the Division I qualifier held at the Quechee Club saw Sebastian Pell from Rutland take the medalist title with an impressive score of 71. The top teams qualifying for states included:
- Champlain Valley with a total of 304 featuring strong performances from Cooper Guerriere (73) and Camden Ayer (74).
- South Burlington scored a 315, led by Evan Marchessault (74).
- Rutland closely followed with 317, thanks to Pell.
Soccer Highlights
On the soccer field, Colchester took down Mount Mansfield with a score of 3-1, spearheaded by Fiona McHugh who netted two goals. In a tight contest, Mount Mansfield triumphed over Colchester 3-2 after double overtime, with Finn Heney scoring the winning goal.
Field Hockey
In field hockey, we saw Hartford emerge victorious against Woodstock with a commanding 3-0 scoreline. Meadow Brunelli was a standout player for Green Mountain Valley School, scoring three goals in a 5-1 win over Hartford.
