Veteran teacher Brian Redd, who has dedicated 29 years to Newberry High School and recently earned the title of Teacher of the Year, shared his thoughts on Samsung’s contribution. “We don’t do this for the income, we do it for the outcome, and obviously with what they are doing here, the outcome is meaningful,” Redd said. He praised the impact of such investments on the community, adding, “This is a special place, it’s home, it’s a small-town environment, it’s a great place to raise a family, a great place to bring kids to go to school here. It’s just a special place and it means so much, not for me it’s not about me it’s about the kids, the teachers, and what we are trying to do for the community.”

The $10,000 donation will go a long way in ensuring that teachers feel valued and supported, allowing them to better equip their classrooms and provide quality education to their students.
