Exciting Playoff Matchup in Salem: Sprague vs. Clackamas
Salem, Oregon – The high school football regular season has wrapped up, and the postseason is set to kick off. Sprague High School is looking to bounce back after a tough loss as they prepare to host Clackamas in the Game of the Week. This highly anticipated matchup will take place on Friday at 7 p.m. in a first-round game of the 6A Open playoffs.
Sprague, seeded sixth in the playoffs, enters the game with an impressive record of 8-1. However, their momentum was halted last week with a disappointing 52-7 home defeat to Sheldon, which clinched the 6A Special District 1 title for Sheldon. In contrast, Clackamas, ranked eleventh with a record of 6-3, is also coming off a loss, having fallen to Nelson by a score of 37-7. Clackamas finished third in the Mt. Hood Conference.
The winner of the Sprague-Clackamas showdown will advance to face third-seeded Sheldon in Eugene next week, adding extra stakes to an already exciting match.
Fans and followers of high school football in the Salem area can look forward to updates and highlights from the game, as well as scores from other playoff matchups happening statewide. The atmosphere at Sprague should be electric as players and fans alike are ready for postseason action.
Be sure to catch all the action as we cheer on Sprague in their quest for victory!
