At Lake Buck Hill, the Nordic skiing event saw Minnetonka take the lead with a total of 288.5 points, followed closely by Hopkins with 242.5 points. The standout performer was Tate Wilker from Eden Prairie, who clinched the medal with an impressive time of 48.61 seconds.

In another skiing event, Edina scored 261 points against Hopkins, who finished with 228 points. Ally Adair from Edina earned the medal, crossing the finish line at 45.51 seconds.

Moving on to basketball, in the Mississippi 8 Conference, Becker triumphed over North Branch with a score of 90-68. Other notable scores included Monticello dominating Cambridge-Isanti 69-16 and Zimmerman finishing strong with a 86-53 victory against St. Francis.

In the Northwest Suburban Conference, Andover defeated Centennial 76-71, while Rogers narrowly edged out Elk River 77-67. Spring Lake Park also scored big, winning 72-49 over Blaine.

The South Suburban conference had Apple Valley securing an impressive win against Rosemount with a score of 82-61. Eagan also managed a close victory over Farmington, finishing 74-67.

As the high school sports season continues, fans can expect more thrilling matches ahead. Athletes are gearing up for more competitions and challenges, looking to improve their performances and secure victories for their respective schools.
