High School Football Playoffs: Scores from Around Houston
This past Saturday marked a significant day in Houston high school football as teams across the state battled it out in the playoffs. With intense matchups and some surprising results, fans were treated to exciting action on the field.
In the Region I Regional games, North Crowley secured a solid victory against Coppell, winning 35 to 24. Meanwhile, Denton Guyer dominated Crowley with a score of 44 to 7. Another notable game saw Denton Ryan defeat N. Richland Hills Richland by a score of 48 to 35.
As we move to Region II Regional competitions, Cypress Bridgeland won a close match against Waxahachie, ending the game with a score of 24 to 19. Duncanville showcased their skills in a commanding victory over The Woodlands, finishing 42 to 20. De Soto also had a strong performance, defeating Willis with a score of 55 to 35.
In Region IV Regional play, CC Flour Bluff edged SA Southwest in a close contest, closing the game at 35 to 28. Randle‘s victory over Brenham at 28 to 14 showcases their growing strength this season.
In the semifinals, games were even more thrilling. Argyle Liberty Christian posted a huge win with a score of 63 to 0 against Houston St. Thomas, while FW All Saints took down Austin Regents with a score of 42 to 26. In other matches, Dallas Parish Episcopal triumphed over Frisco Legacy Christian at 42 to 7 and Houston Second Baptist beat Fort Bend Christian 35 to 16.
With the playoffs heating up, teams are preparing for the next round with hopes of advancing further. As the competition continues, fans eagerly anticipate what will happen next.
