High School Basketball Recap: Week of Competitions

This week’s high school basketball games brought some exciting plays and tight finishes across various schools. In West Clermont, the boys’ team secured a solid win against Little Miami with a score of 63-48. For Little Miami, Dalraine was a standout performer, scoring 24 points, while Hale led West Clermont with an impressive 27 points. The halftime score was 34-25 in favor of West Clermont.

Oak Hills also celebrated a win, defeating Seton 49-39. Kammerer was key for Oak Hills, netting 22 points, and helped the team to maintain control throughout, finishing the half ahead 25-21.

In another thrilling matchup, Ursuline Academy came out on top against Hamilton, winning 48-33. Garza was the MVP for Ursuline, contributing 25 points to their total. The halftime score reflected their close game at 23-19.

Mason maintained their unbeaten streak by beating Lakota West 51-37. Parrish had a notable performance, scoring 26 points, showcasing his skills on the court, with Mason leading at halftime 21-18.

A nail-biter occurred when Woodward squeaked past Wilmington 59-56. The game saw several lead changes, and in the end, Woodward managed to hold on for the win, heading into halftime with a slim 27-25 advantage.

Finally, Milford completed a strong showing against Walnut Hills, winning 39-34. It was a tightly contested game with both teams exchanging leads, but Milford’s defense held strong in the last quarter to clinch the victory.

As the season progresses, it’s clear that these players are giving their all, promising an exciting lineup of games to come. Coaches are urged to submit their results each night to keep everyone informed, and remember to nominate standout players for the upcoming Team or Athlete of the Week!
