In socal, Jonathan Law defeated Amistad with a dominating 3-0 score. Ivan Galicinao led the charge with two goals, while Kevin Cepetelli also found the back of the net. Assists came from Alex Rodriguez and Jakub Borowski, both contributing to a confident performance from Jonathan Law.
Morgan also made a statement with their 3-0 victory over Cromwell. Jonny Gutierrez scored twice, joined by Esteban Orozco. Gavin Baptista and Emiliano Miranda each earned assists, while goalkeeper Liam Totten made three saves to ensure a solid defensive effort.
Ridgefield managed a narrow win against Wilton, winning 1-0, thanks to Ronan Hanley’s single goal, which he scored with Martim Dias Pinto providing the assist.
In the volleyball arena, Hamden faced West Haven in a thrilling encounter, triumphing 3-2. Maddy Rollinson shined with eight aces and 22 assists while Bella Green contributed with 13 kills and 14 digs. This match showcased both teams’ resilience, making it one to remember.
Meanwhile, Seymour and Ansonia played to a deadlock, ending the game in a 1-1 tie. Ansonia’s Peyton Johnson opened the scoring, but Seymour’s Annabelle Monaco-Belden struck back to earn a draw.
Amity continued their strong season with a solid 2-0 win over North Haven. Maggie Kershnar scored both goals, leading her team to maintain their unbeaten record.
