In Pittsburgh, high school sports fans are gearing up for an exciting lineup of games scheduled for Monday, September 30, across various sports including hockey, soccer, and volleyball.
Hockey Matches
Starting with hockey, the action promises to be thrilling with several matchups in different classes. In Class 3A, North Allegheny will take on South Fayette at the Mt. Lebanon Ice Center at 7:10 PM. Meanwhile, in Class 2A, Armstrong faces Baldwin at 7 PM at Ice Castle Ice Arena. Canon-McMillan and Norwin will battle it out at Palmer Imaging Arena at 6:30 PM.
Additionally, Hempfield will compete against Penn-Trafford at 8:30 PM, and teams in Class A will also be active, including Hampton versus Butler at 9:10 PM. Fans can also catch games featuring Indiana against North Hills and Meadville against Montour at RMU Island Sports Center at 7:15 PM and 9:15 PM, respectively.
Soccer Games
On the soccer front, the boys’ games are set to begin with Deer Lakes traveling to North Catholic at 7 PM, while nonsection teams California and Waynesburg will also meet at the same time. The girls’ matches will include Norwin visiting Armstrong and Penn-Trafford heading to Hempfield, both kicking off at 7:30 PM.

Volleyball Matches
The volleyball schedule is just as stacked, with Serra Catholic facing Brentwood at 7:30 PM. Other matches include Armstrong at Knoch and Belle Vernon at Southmoreland, both set for 7:30 PM as well.
