Houston High School Football Playoff Scores
Houston, TX – In an exciting round of high school football playoff action, several teams across Texas showcased their talent and determination on the field last Thursday. The matches were fierce as teams fought for a spot in the next stage of the playoffs.
In Region II, De Soto dominated Wylie East with an impressive score of 51-17. Similarly, Port Neches-Groves secured a solid victory over Kaufman, winning 42-21. Alvarado faced a thrilling matchup against Frisco Panther Creek, finally pulling through with a narrow win of 44-41 in overtime.
In Region IV, Austin Vandegrift blanked Sotomayor 51-0, while Cibolo Steele had a commanding performance against PSJA, ending the game at 63-12. Meanwhile, SA Alamo Heights put on a show, scoring 75 points against Mercedes, who could only manage 14.
Moving to Region III, it was a defensive battle between A&M Consolidated and Galveston Ball, with A&M winning 10-3. Tyler Chapel Hill showcased their offensive skills, beating Worthing 49-24.
In Region I, Canyon Randall edged out Andrews in a close contest with a final score of 42-36. Other notable scores from Region I included FW Benbrook overcoming Midland Greenwood 41-34 and Graham blasting Monahans 63-6.
Fans were treated to exciting games, and as the playoffs continue, teams will be looking to build on their successes and push further into the tournament.
