The South Bend area is buzzing with excitement as local high school athletes have made their college commitments official. On Wednesday, many talented athletes from various schools signed their letters of intent to continue their sports careers at the collegiate level. The early signing window opened on November 13, and it will remain open for most athletes until August 1, 2025. However, basketball players at the Division I level have a more specific deadline as they can sign until November 20. The second signing period is set for April 16 to May 25, 2025. Meanwhile, football players will have their chance to sign starting in December.
