# Meyer Center Opens First Inclusive 4K Classroom

## Meyer Center for Special Children Celebrates New Classroom

The Meyer Center for Special Children recently marked the opening of its first inclusive 4K classroom with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its Rutherford Road campus. The new 4K Inclusion Program began on August 10.

Pacolet Milliken, LLC provided a $200,000 grant that made the program possible. This funding supported the conversion of existing Meyer Center space into a 500-square-foot classroom, fully equipped, and also covered year-one staffing, curriculum, and start-up materials.

Those participating in the ceremonial ribbon-cutting included Jennifer Calabria, director of real estate development for Pacolet Milliken; John Runion, SVP of Pinnacle Financial Partners; Meta Hendricks, executive director of the Meyer Center; and Meyer Center parents Justin and Caroline Lambert.
